links to open in a new window! I tried them all with IE

and they all work superbly! When I clicked on the "X"

only the new file closed and the one with the header remained opened.

I remember the days when I started on the internet there

were so many times I lost a website because I thought

that by clicking on the "X" I was just closing one site but

instead lost everything. It was so disappointing!

It's my birthday!

Oh yeah, August 28th is my big day. I'm heading out for a bit, but i wanted to drop you a quick note. :) I forgot to post about this awesome header my flash guy G did for Jason. Go ahead and click to see it in action!

Another Holy Header Design :)

Lets start with a personal favor, and a personal favorite :)

Jason got an idea to play off the Mobster, Mafia Wars craze that we are all so addicted to in my house. So he needed something along the same lines as the social site apps. Strong lines and a recognizable style. I love this one. The guy kinda looks like him too :)

Now for the second one, he wasn't really sure what he wanted yet. But he knew clean and official was what he wanted. Also he really liked the mass control insignia - really added something. Looks pretty koo too ;)

Done and Done, Blog Header Turn out

Here we go:

The first client Marcelle has a "tips for beginning gardeners" site.

Simple and clean as part of a wordpress blog :) I had a beautiful graphic I've been waiting to use. We'll see how it looks overall.

Now from there she really stressed the importance of having a killer menu.

Now I have a buddy, he's been a friend to Jason and me for years - and he's up and climbing in the IM world. Short and sweet - he does brilliant flash. Banners, ads, headers, and it all functions. So I asked him to take what I had done so far and put something quick together just to give Marcelle an idea of how it would look and fuction. Then I asked him to give me a quote for his services.

Now flash takes a sec to do, I know that, pretty difficult stuff. I like flash but I think it takes time away doing something I'm not crazy about so... Do what you love, and stay focused. I'll leave the flash stuff to him.

He gave me a quote of $197 for a pimpin flash header based on my designs.

Now in his own words he did say "if they want to keep a link to your blog right in the header such as a 'designed by HeadersForBlogs.com' we can cut her a serious deal cause we'll get free traffic"

((Pretty good I think considering design guru Ryan's headers run about $299 no flash.))

Moving on-

This second header is for a friend of mine, Jambhala - really cool guy doin a ton of environmental research in Belize. He had a blog but just the basic text header - so I wanted to make something cool and 2.0 looking. Here's what we got.

All and all - lots of fun research this round.

Digg the Future of Blogging?

According to this pretty convincing article, I might have stumbled upon the future of blogging. It's called lifestreaming. Sync'd and automatically updated logs of your fun daily activities online - so in other words - you don't keep up with a blog, the blog keeps up with you :)

Another Sweet Blog Header Project - Done :)

Alrighty, this client is building a blog on a fantastic idea.

User language exchange - I just got my Rosetta Stone Software - so I was really excited to see this come through. He wanted a 2.0 look but with a focus on "a bunch of gals and guys" from around the world. :)

I think the base of 2.0 is big, easy words, with lots of simplistic lines. I made 3 versions, and this one has all the elements he asked for...

Next we have a header for a blog I'm working on where people can have custom audio messages recorded. Streaming audio is great for raising conversions on a site - I know, I tested ;)

Again you can see tons of unique images and fonts that I bought - just for these projects.

I spent the weekend hunting them down, and getting the last few books and posters to start my son Aaron's schooling, good stuff.

Killer New Blog Header Designs

Here's some of the latest projects:

This first one was for a client that was creating a new blog - empowering the middle class to break away and make more income going into business for themselves.

This was serious business and could not look like another cookie cutter scam.

So we kept it professional , but at the same time on the left side used a real person :)

Next we have a header for a blog for newbies that teaches thru video blog posting:

Next we have a personal journal blog - giving all the details - good and bad about past relationships. We can tell the blogs main voice will be a woman and the content will be intimate.

Now something else I realize is all the headers showcased open the blogs in new windows. And it struck me, the more clients the more referrals = more traffic for the blog headers showcased.

Fantastic! That's a bonus I didn't even consider...

Like I've said in previous posts - you will find my prices to be very fair. I only ask enough to keep my 3 kids fed, happy and educated :)

All my images are unique to your header and I love to hunt down just the right fonts...

Now, these I have to say I really enjoyed. Being niche specific really gives you bunches to work with.

A couple of these are my personal sites and one was for my younger brother - who was looking to support his video game addition with profits from this blog :) It's a good start...

So here's the first header to check out, this one was clean and simple created for an educational/metaphysical site.

Very clean and simple- I wanted it to really blend into the rest of the site seamlessly. But at the same time give it a look and set a tone.

Now for this next blog, I really wanted to give a lasting impression. I wanted it convey an edgy news feel and support the message of the "new social marketing wave"podcast.

Also, I wanted it to hold attention long enough to pull visitors into the videos, and give the overall impression of a strong woman presence.

The last one I wanted to post today is this header created for my brother. He recently decided to join the hordes of newbies making money online using a blog.

He picked his favorite topic and got cracking setting the site up to monetize. I love the guy, and he was proud of the header he created himself, but I really wanted him to stand out and look more professional.

So I took a couple of his favorite elements and created an "in game" kind of header. Take a look...
